I was super excited when I saw the name ROAD TRIP on the newest email, because about a week and a half ago, I wrote that he and the guys should go on a road trip. GASP! Strong Bad used MY email!!! But...

On the email, it reads 'Dear Fatty Bad, which I didnt write. It also says "That guy from that place", which I didnt write. However, the question is exactly as the same as I wrote it. So...

A: It's my e-mail, but for whatever reason he changed the name

or

B: By crazy chance someone else wrote the exact same question as I did, right around the time I that did.

So do the Brothers Chaps change the names?

Well since we've already had a report on this here forum of somebody else having already asked your email's question, so the chances of somebody having an identical email to yours in all but greeting and signature aren't that small.

I'm guessing that it's just a coincidence. You wouldn't be the first person to think that they has their e-mail answered, only to find out that it wasn't actually theirs.

Indeed, damik's right. With thousands upon thousands of people all over the worl emailing TBC, I'm sure they see a lot of the same topics. Before long, they'll notice a topic like "road trip" start to pile up in numbers. Because it's so popular, they'll almost have to create a Sbemail for it sometime. So they'll just choose one of the many at random, and create it for all to see!

Heh heh, look at me. I'm acting like the Sbemail guru. What I should've said earlier is, that's just why I THINK goes on around there. I could very well be right, I could very well be wrong. However, I'm pretty sure TBC don't edit emails sent to them. Grammatical/spelling errors are all left in for humor and names are left as is... to the best of my knowledge. If an email contained inappropriate material... they would probably just flat out delete it rather than edit it. ‘Nuff said from me.

There were actually a couple of people who said they sent road-trip themed emails, which makes sense since the road trip season just ended.

There have been some reports that they do change emails slightly, like changing a name a bit to make it easier to make fun of or shortening the email. Nothing like the changes they would have had to make to yours I don't think, but then again, no one's let in on the process so who knows?

Yeah, I can see that, particularly about them getting a lot of similar e-mails. I was a bit surprised to learn about them getting several about road trips though, you must admit it's a little obscure. But with that number of emails, im sure youre right. However, the actual wording of the email was surprisingly close to mine, but who knows...

Its probably a couple ideas in one email. Back in july i sent an email about a road trip maybe it is so many people have sent emails about road trips TBC had to make (doubt it)

What Sherlockrunner said makes me think, maybe they recived a few "Road Trip" Emails and decided the theme. Then, they pickd a Email to use.
