What was the first Strong Bad Email you ever saw?

A friend of mine introduced me to the sbemails when I had a broken ankle in 8th grade. I don't know, he was showing me a bunch of random stuff, and then he gave me the link to "animal".

I was very easily amused back then, but I don't remember laughing at anything more. Then I started watching a bunch of other ones, haha.

now that i really think about it, i was at Max's house, and he told me to go see this cool website. i wanted to go to games, so i did. i wanted to play Bronco Trolley. he told me it sucked, but let me play it anyway. it sucked, so he decided to show me an email, which at the time, Dragon was top o' the list.

I think he means that he first watched some kinda robot in August of last year. I guess he started from the bottom and not the top.

It was either Couch Patch or Stunt Double. Probably somtime in mid '05.

But even then, I didn't actually start watching them like crazy till about January '06.

I think it was either DRAGON or THEME PARK. It was about late '04 that I first discovered H*R, around the time VIRUS came out.

My first Sbemail was some kinda robot, but then I thought it was the most idiotic thing I even saw. I waited about a month, went back on the site, and saw dragon. I love to draw, and that got me hooked. :mrgreen:

Mine was...Sibbie. I saw Strong Bad and Homestar and Strong Sad and the Cheat and I knew who they were.

Like two years later I saw "what I want" and I had no idea who that lady with the blonde ponytail was.

My friend showed me Personal Favorites first, but I can't remember that one. I do remember Pom Pom as the first email. But I came around when Extra Plug was out.

I knew I was going to be a fan when those combos and the 1-Ups appeared when Pom Pom severely pummeled Strong Bad.

And I'm kinda wishing it wasn't...that email is really weird and everyone doesn't act like themselves, not to mention Homestar sounds like some British guy. I almost didn't get into it. Luckily I did though. :cheatgrin:

Speaking of teachers, my band director is a pretty big fan, and often references the site. Actually, it was my school's band that was featured on quote of the week a while back for playing the CGNU Fight Song (but this was a year or so before my time, sadly).

Anyway, I was introduced to the site in August '03, when I was eleven and at this filmmaking camp. I was in the film editing department (I was the only girl!) and since we didn't have any material to work with from the other departments for the first couple days, all the guys were sitting around watching SB emails. I think my first might have been dragon.
