I'm holding out for a very 20X6 (game not area) Holloween

:hr: Vyse (Skies of Arcadia: Legends) ( I can't get this out of my head)
:cheat: Gir (Zim)
:sb: Samus Aran (Metroid)
:sm: Bowser's Castle (Mario) (Literally, he is THE castle from the original game)
 Cloud (Final Fantasy)
:coachz: Wierd Al!
:pom: Willy Wonka
:marzi: Akia/ Aika/ Whatever her name was ( Skies of Arcadia:Legends)
:poop: Riku (Kingdom Hearts)
:bubs: Wearing Mickey Mouse ears, a Coka-Cola shirt, and a World of Warcraft backpack (Bubs: All these subliminal advertisements will make me millions! Marzi: I think those companies support violence.)
:homsar: Artix (Adventure Quest)

I know it is a lot of gaming, hence why I want it to take place in the Stinkoman game, or at least centered around it.

Why? Because they're mostly from very well known things? How is that selling out? It's not like they get money from dressing up as those things.

It's a TV show from Canada. A VERY funny TV show from Canada targeted at family audiences. Its purpose is to entertain and to provide an escape from the pressures of urban living.

Set way up north at the infamous Possum Lodge in a backwoods community called Possum Lake, The Red Green Show is a hilarious insight into men, their dreams, and their obsessions. It's a show for anyone who thinks God created man to give the rest of the world something to laugh at!

Steve Smith plays the acerbic, dry-witted Red Green, lodge leader and host of the show that takes special aim at the yet unexplored humorous side of the male ego and other inflatables. Pat McKenna plays Harold, Red's techno-geek nephew, and Rick Green (no relation to Red) is the klutzy naturalist Bill Smith. Each week they pass the time bonding, adventuring, entrepreneuring and basically keeping the eight-year-old in them alive and well.

The Red Green Show is basically very much a Canadian cross between Hee-Haw and Home Improvement.

Anywho, in terms of what characters from that show the Homestar characters can portray, how about:

:bubs: as Red Green
:hr: as Harold Green

Because most of it strays far away from semi-obscure 80's pop culture and goes into modern-day mainstream crap.

The game idea is fine ; the games aren't.

Wasn't Strong Sad already a rock legend guy? In the halloween where he is doing haikus. That one was interesting. Still, he's been mostly pop and rock artists, why not turn him into Shakespeare? Or maybe Edgar Allen Poe. That would be awesome!

That be David Bowie, the greatest rock legend.

And personally, I agree with The Noid, putting in people I have actually heard of is evil, since I manage to guess an avarage of one costume every Halloween toon, but I enjoy trying anyway, it wouldn't be much fun if I knew who everyone was dressed as, and it would ruin the feel of obscurity that the site reakes of, our selections are for lesser animators/writers to use, people who try to be like TBC but fail.

Obscurity forever!

I miss Marshie/Marshy/However you spell it...

I think a great idea for a ween toon would be thus:

(toon begins with Homestar in costume with Pom Pom, he is going as Indiana Jones, complete with fedora hat holding a trick or treat bag)

:hr: Well Pom Pom 'ol buddy... looks like we're off on a 'nother adventure. Into the unknown.... to seek out our fortune and glory. We're not taking no crap from nobody... NOTHING from nobody, we're on the---
(cut to Pom Pom looking bored)
(cut to strong bad and the cheat hidden away)
:sb: So let me get this straight, the plan is to just.... JUMP Homestar and steall all his candy?
:cheat: Meh (in a yeah like tone)
:sb: That's the best plan ever. Oh oh.. here they come.

(cut back to Homestar talking still)
:hr: Except them snakes... I hate snakes.

(strongbad and teh cheat pop out)
:sb: :cheat: Ahh ha!!!

:pom: *bubble noises* (looks angry)

:sb: Oh crap The Cheat, you didn't tell me Pom Pom was gonna be with him!! Now take it easy there big guy we were uhh, just gonna...
:cheat: *cheat noises*
:sb: Scare you? Yeah! Scare you. .......... so uhm.......... boo.
:pom: *bubbles*

(both homestar and pom pom walk off)

... then suddenly the toon messes up a little and everything goes out of whack and for a split second Marsie appears transparently through the toon and then goes away with evil laughter...

:sb: Wai-Ha-Huh-wai ... what the heck was that?
:cheat: *cheat noises*

(cut to homestar and pom pom trick or treating at Marzipan's.)

... except it's cardboard marzipan

:hr: Twik or Treeeat!

(silence)

:hr: Ah-hem. I saiiii. Twik or Treeeat!

(silence)

:hr: That's a really bad costume Marzipan.

:pom: (looks dissapointed)

Then the toon messes up again and Marshie appears.

Marshie: Hahahaha... Muhahaha... you can't killll meeee... I told youuuu.... I'm going to take that...

(sucks in Homestar's candy and pom pom's too)

:hr: Sweet Cup'n Cakes!
:sb: (in the distance) .. hey thats my line.
:hr: It's like all my nightmares about marshmallows are coming true at once!

(Pom Pom goes to fight Marshie but is sucked into him through his mouth)

Marshie grows bigger and his voice gets deeper and more evil

Marshie: Muhahaha.... why don't you try some of my fluffity puffity marshmallowsss........ they're.... EVERYWHEREEEEEE

(as he says that, millions of marshmallows pop out of him and rain down from the sky)

.... everyone runs off.

(cut to everyone hiding under bubs concession stand - you can see Marshie running amok outside)
:sb: Look, I never liked the guy. I knew he wasn't all there.
(homestar is looking off the other way)
 Homestar, you sure don't seem too worried about the fact that Marzipan is nowhere to be found.

:hr: Who? Oh ... right right. Marzipan. She's right here.
(gets out cardboard Marzipan)

 Homestar that's not Marz-
:sb: Just let it go man. Just let it go.
:coachz: I always knew I'd die alone.
:sb: Your surrounded by tons of people Coach Z... what are you talking about?
:kot: I always knew I'd die by some sort of giant homicidal food. Never thought it would be a marshmallow though. Didn't see THAT one coming. *very sadly* Dooo hooo hoooo....

:bubs: What are we all doing here? Let's defend ourselves! Not just sit around waiting for the inebitable! *cocks shotgun*

:sm: Let's Hurt Somethiiiing!!

(everyone runs outside to a giant Marshie with red glowing eyes... I mean so big that he is like a 20 story building...)

Marshie: WHhhhhattt doooOOooOoo youUUuuu WANnnnANNNTTTT

:sb: Um, .... nothing. We were just leaving. .... so um...
:bubs: We're not going anywhere.

(extreme close-up on bubs)

:bubs: It's the end of the line for you....

Marshie comes over and sucks up Cardboard Marzipan...

:hr: OHhh Marzipann!! Noooo!!!! (crying) She was so young!!
(suddenly getting brave and angry)
I'm gonna have to put a stop to this.... Homestarrrr... RUNN

(homestar leaps into the air like he did in the old toon with strongbad in the boxing ring, but he is immediately sucked in by marshie)

:sb: Whoa. That was awesome....
:pom: *bubbles angrly*
:sb: I mean that was horrible. (sarcastically) Ohhhh crap, come back homestar, we can't live without youuu...

Marshie destroys everyone and begins sucking in scenery until the screen is white...

then he turns towards the toon and the box the toon plays in gets sucked in on itself and the toon ends with a black screen, so it appears Marshie sucked in the toon itself and you have absolutely no idea what happened.

Hahahaha.

Whoa, that was a bit cruel up there.

What are some of the other costumes. I know you mentioned H*R as Indiana Jones, but what are the others' costumes? And where are Marzipan, The Poopsmith and Homsar? You should also include Strong Mad with SB and The Cheat in the beginning when they try to surprise H*R and Pom Pom. Maybe The Poopsmith should be seen cowering with the KOT. While the KOT says, "I always knew I'd die by some sort of giant homicidal food. Never thought it would be a marshmallow though. Didn't see THAT one coming. Dooo hooo hoooo..." you can click on The Poopsmith as always and after the KOT is finished talking, you unlock a scene with Homsar, also cowering. He says:
:homsar: "Raaaaa, I think we should do this more often!"

What do you think? And we can't just leave the story to end like this. It needs to have a happy ending (well, as happy an ending as anything that happens in these toons). And please explain what the characters' costumes are.

If I were to finish the toon off here, I would do it like this...

As Marshie starts sucking in the toon, the camera showing him gets sucked in as well. Inside is a white swirly Vertigo-style void. The characters are all floating around, surrounded by LOTS of candies from all over the H*R universe, including the really old things like Fluffy Puff Air-Puffed Sugar Delights and Delicious Bags. Echoing tones of dialog of Marshie's is heard everywhere ("Aww, snap!", "'Sup, fools?", "Yowza! Guess who birfday it is!", etc.).

Meanwhile, the characters, still all in their H'ween costumes, are all floating around in a swirling white vortex of marshmallows and H*R candies. Surrounding them all are bits of scenery of the real world. Strong Bad, The Cheat and Strong Mad all look around.

:sb: Where are we anyways?

:cheat: *The Cheat noises*

:sb: Well, I knew that, I just never knew that this is what the inside of a marshmallow was like. But why is it so white on Halloween?

:coachz: Yeah, shouldn't it be blork (means "black") or arange ("orange")?

Suddenly, the swirls change to black and orange, while Marshie says...

MARSHIE: (echoing) Boogidy-boogidy! I'll scare your dad!

:sb: Man, if I didn't think that was annoying enough already...

I'll add more later; right now, I'm out of ideas.

I didn't want to come up with all the costume ideas, as I was pretty sure I couldn't come up with good ones for everybody. lol. Feel free to finish it off, I like the direction you are taking it in.

... as far as just ending it ....

I didn't really think it should have no ending like that. I meant there'd be like a secret spot or something you could click on the black screen that would continue the toon or something. Like a hidden ending or something.

How about calling the toon of yours, "Happy Malloween"?

And for the costumes the characters wear, I know about...

:hr: as Indiana Jones

As for the rest of the characters, how about...

:sb: as Boris Badenov
:cheat: as Potato Chip Popple
:sm: as E. Honda
 as Dr. Moreau
:pom: as Ralph Kramden
:marzi: as Yoko Ono (and this would apply to Cardboard Marzipan, too)
:coachz: as Master P
:bubs: as Morpheus
:kot: as Cookie Monster
:poop: as Arsène Lupin III
:homsar: as Waldo

And since Potato Chip Popple is a female, it would make The Cheat the fourth Homestar character to dress up as someone of the opposite sex. The first three characters were Strong Bad (Carmen Miranda in 2000; Carmen Sandiego in 2001), Marzipan (Joey Ramone in 2001; Willie Nelson in 2004; Beaker in 2005) and Coach Z (Queen Latifah in 2006). What do you think of that?

And what do you think of my ideas for your H'ween toon?

I like the costume ideas... nice title too!

... I hope whatever they do is cooler than our ideas. lol. Last year, I was more impressed with my "lappy murder mystery" idea than the hallowday thing they did. And I came up with that murder mystery thing BEFORE they did any of those lappy napped toons (which sort of killed the idea of it being used for the 'ween toon).

What would be horrible is if they didn't make one at all.

Another possibility is one with the ghosts of ALL the old or obsolete electronics in the H*R body of work. It would have the ghosts of not just SB's two old computers, but also those of Marzipan's old answering machine, the Tangerine Dreams computer (The Cheat's old comp.), the old TV (that once was the original toons menu way back when) and so many others! That would be something, wouldn't it?

But the idea of no H'ween toon whatsoever this year? :-( I just can't fathom such a thing!

On the other hand, remember 2005? We thought for sure there'd be no H'ween toon that year almost until Halloween that year was over! But the wait was worth it.

I wonder if the Goblin will appear in this year's toon. I think it would make sense if he did not this time around, since he did not appear in the H'ween toons of '01 and '04.

And also Strong Mad should once again dress up as a sports athlete, like he did in 2001 (William "Refrigerator" Perry) and 2004 (Ben Wallace).
