I expect Pixar to win.

In my opinion, Pixar has yet to make a bad movie, Dreamworks made some not-so-awesome stuff (Shark Tale, Antz, Shrek 3).

You expect correctly. Also on the Dreamworks sucks side: Madagascar.

They were both great back in the day, but now they are both the suck.

I have yet to be disappointed by a Pixar movie. Granted, there have been some of theirs that I initially didn't expect much from (I never thought I'd like The Incredibles, but once I saw it, I loved it!). Ratatouille wasn't that impressive, but it still had its good points.

But I was totally disappointed by Shrek 3. 1 and 2 were great. 1 is the best, story-wise, and it was funny. 2 wasn't as great, but was WAAAY funnier. But 3 just kinda fell flat. Other than the princesses doing the Charlie's Angels thing, I really don't remember anything funny about it. I also thought Arthur looked too much like Charming.

Pixar hands-down. DreamWorks broke through technical-wise, but Pixar to me has much better storytelling and emotional depth. Besides, Pixar doesn't load its movies with tons of pop-culture references. Not to mention a token "black" character in every single CG movie.

To be honest, the only Dreamworks movie I liked was the first Shrek. Meh, I prefer classic 2D animation anyway, but Pixar isn't half bad.

Ratatoullie, I heard, was one of Pixar's best. I haveen't personally seen it but I can tell it is very very awesome.

I watched it this summer when it was out in theatres. I chose Ratatouille over 1408, stupid, stupid me.

Anyways, I saw Ratatouille. It was teh suck.

This is really a one-sided poll. Pixar wins hands-down. All Dreamworks has going for it is Shrek, and then only the first one, and then they're still not as good as anything Pixar has done - with the possible exception of Toy Story 2 or Cars.

I didn't say Toy Story 2 and Cars were BAD– just not as good as anything else Pixar has done. Ratatouille is also not quite up to the other Pixar movies' standard, but it's awesome enough to be listed alongside them anyway. The new one coming out in 2008, Wall-E, looks like it'll make up for that one and Cars. At least, I hope...

The animation for WALL-E looks amazing.

Pixar, of course. Dreamworks hasn't done one good animated movie (with the possible exception of Shrek). Pixar has done (in order of greatness): The Incredibles, Cars, Toy Story, Nemo, Toy Story 2 (these three are pretty much tied).

I don't see how this is possible. Ratatouille wasn't bad at all. Wasn't Pixar's best (my fav is Finding Nemo), but it definitely wasn't bad. It was cute, had a good AND original story (a combination that's hard to come by) and had incredible animation.

The worst opinion is the opinion never spoken.

Pixar never lets us down in the animation field. True is this.

But I never agree with anyone who comes out of a Pixar film and says, "Oh, that was a cute movie" because it's very rare that they're actually right.

This doesn't justify the fact that Dreamworks sucks, I guess. I'll vote Pixar.

Never. The demographic they're after wouldn't approve of an intelligently written movie like one from the Toy Story series.

I hope they don't make another. Sure the two movies are great, but sometimes making a sequal (or a third sequal) just ruins it.
