Uhh, 350 for Xbox + 170 for Rock Band Bundle = $520

400 for PS3 + 60 for game + 80 for drums + 80 for guitar = $600
-or-
400 for PS3 + 170 for Bundle = $570

Either way, 360 plus bundle is cheaper. And you get the advantage of having Xbox Live and a system to play Halo 3 on.

Who said I was buying the guitars? I read this info on Wikipedia, I'm still not believing it.

Besides I suck at every Halo game ever.

I got the price info from the Gamestop website. But whatever, you win.

TIMMAH

I gotta find someone doing vocals.

EDIT: Here http://youtube.com/watch?v=-H0diu6C2v8&feature=related

EDIT:

Unless you can imitate a vocoder with your singing, I don't think that would work so well...

Why wouldn't it? You just match the pitch with your voice.

Yo, I'd like to give an online guitar battle a shot. Anyone else got GH3 for Wii? C'mon, I'd be easy to destroy. Most people have pretty much beat the game already and I'm only half way through meejum.

Gimme PM or IM me.

Nope.. for some reason the game on one console can only connect to the game on that same console, even though they're connecting over the INTERNET, so that really shouldn't matter.

I don't know anyone who has it for the Wii. Pretty much everyone I know that has it got it for 360.

My Guitar Hero code is 2878 7959 0403.

So.. like, add and challenge anytime you see me online so I can try the multiplayer thing for once. Sure, after I get my butt handed to me several times (or just once, depending on how embarrassing the defeat was) I'll stop being so open about challenges, but until then...

TTFATF is outrageous. Me and a friend played it like twelve times on expert, him getting 68 percent, and me 50.

I find myself very disappointed that people would rather spend money on a simulation of a guitar for almost the same price as one. And it's not a downcast glare upon people who aren't good enough because they'd rather play a videogame than a musical instrument. I'm genuinely bummed out that people would choose to put themselves into an artificial and confining construct, only doing what is dictated to them for their own sake of entertainment, instead of picking up what is being simulated, and having unlimited possibilities with it. I just don't understand what the appeal of Guitar Hero is when a forreal guitar will always be more fulfilling.

The appeal of Guitar Hero is that it is a fun rhythmic party game with a good soundtrack.

The reason why I play guitar hero is because I can't play a real one. I've messed up my hands too much playing football.

Huh. Yeah, that could work, but it would be crazy hard.

Dude, that's been said a million times. Get over yourself, hippie. Some people don't want to learn to play guitar.

You're a jerk, and spare me that "this is the Internet" tripe. I don't care if that's been said a million times, and I certainly hope you'd keep a better sense of decorum when dealing with people in real life. Why did you automatically assume that I don't like "Guitar Hero" or "Rock Band" because of ego? Uh, especially considering that I already said that it's not a "downcast glare upon people who aren't good enough because they'd rather play a videogame." Secondly, you didn't advance the conversation very far. I already established that some people didn't want to learn how to play guitar. I was simply ruing this in the same way that you see a cloudy day and wish it was sunny.

P-owned.

Anyways, I don't know if Rock Band has a multiplayer mode like guitar-microphone or bass-drum or drum-guitar or something like that. Does it?
