Oh man, I had a little tiny TV like that in my basement. It had a white plastic case and the screen was so small that when you played Mario it cut off the score. One day we found a converter thingy at a garage sale, and it allowed the TV to go from 14 channels to a glorious 37.

Dil was pretty much the prelude to jumping the shark. It wasn't completely, though, because the first movie was awesome. Then they made that second movie and introduced more, even lamer characters, and that was it. The shark was jumped.

I couldn't ever quite figure out pogs, and never got the chance to. Right when I "discovered" them, they fell out of style. Then like yo-yos were the next big thing until Pokemon came out.

I still have a thousand or so Pokemon cards somewhere. I used to be the master of that game when only the first two generations of cards were out; two Charizards and a Blastoise > your deck. I also remember getting both an Articuno and Moltres card after that second Pokemon movie since they ran out of ancient Mew cards. Articuno had a move called Freeze Dry, which I don't think was part of the games...?

Then came Yu-Gi-Oh. God, probably a thousand more cards dedicated to that game.

I remember when I was young there were 2 fads to follow, Pokemon or Dragonball Z, I picked Dragonball Z and fortunately it was the favoured fad in my school, I now realise the flaws both shows have (DBZ is good but it takes them 5 episodes to change a lightbulb and Pokemon..."OMG, its a (insert pokemon here)")

Maybe it's just me, but Disney movies stank after HoND. Come to think of it, it was probably the darkest Disney musical ever: religious, seductive, and racist overtones, the hero didn't get the girl, etc.

HoND is the most adult one but Hellfire is simply so amazing. Frollo is the best villain out all of them. He's human and thinks of himself as a great hero because he's so blinded by his hate.

And nah, they continued to be great. I'm sure that Mulan and Hercules both came after Huncback.

I don't remember much of that movie altogether.

Either way it looks like Disney's making a return to not-sucking.

Also, I remember the first time I played. It was overwhelming. Running around the subway nearby the hospital in Staunton, wielding a flamethrower, chasing old ladies into the path of trains...the perfect game for a child.

I'm nostalgic for VHS tapes all of a sudden. I have all the James Bond movies on VHS and it's a really impressive collection.

Also, nostalgia backwards is "aiglatson." Just thought I'd point that out.

Also, The Brave Little Toaster had Jon Lovitz and Phil Hartman in it. Epic win.

I used to love Pajama Sam. I played the crap out of those games.
I remember that Sam was eating a bowl of Crunch Berries or something at like, 9 PM while watching the Pajama Man TV show in one game intro. Then the power went out and he had a seizure. I think that was the 'darkness' game.
