Prototaph is the title of a very short story from a 60s collection of short science fiction stories. I think it's only a page or two long, but it's last line struck a chord in me:

Well, I was trying to think of a new Username that was tough and cool and cool and tuff, so I kept on thinking and then it struck me, Paranigma which means Paranormal Enigma

it took me a long 10 minutes of think, and then it hit me, im in high school(i dont know why i changed ti so skool) and i cansider myself an art major, so thus High Skool Artist was born, my username on youtube is ChronospaceTrode though i got that from my friend, i like chrono trigger and i was playing dragon quest VIII at the time, and my friend made Chrono Trode, and youtube doesnt allow spaces, so i made it ChronospaceTrode, and on Deviantart, its the same thing as here, just without the spaces, so its HighSkoolArtist there, and that concludes my username story, thank you and hope you can understand my bad grammer

My real name is Courtney and my favorite character is Jadzia Dax(Star Trek: DS9) so....Courtney Dax...there ya go...

I think the meaning of the name Princess of Strong Badia is pretty self-explanatory, but there IS a story behind it. When I was first getting into HR, I used to go to this HR fan site. I think it was a blog of some sort that had screen caps from the emails on it. I forgot why, but one day I emailed the web master of this fan site (probably just to tell him how awesome his site was) and I signed the email Princess of Strong Badia. I think it was still a couple months before I would join the Wiki, but when I did, I decided to use that name once again.

I was just sitting here, registering, and I didn't have anything.
I tried "IPlayIbanez," my Photobucket and guitarists.net name, but nah. So then I thought of "BobMan," already taken. So I was at a complete loss, when I was just thinking of random hip hop phrases... "Sup Dawg," "Hey G," but those all sucked (as well as the other attempts at names), and I wasn't really into that culture, not even jokes, I find the jokes made on it now to be repetitive and bland.
So then I just thought "Eh, I'll try that idea, but make it something kinda... not lame, also."
So then I thought of Word Up.

I came up with my username from the end of The House that Gave Sucky Treats because if you vote for The Cheat it comes up with something that says I Choose YOU Cheatachu. So yeah that kinda explains itself

I once used this name for one other thing on the Internet, and decided to use it here, too. I was kind of thinking of a name... "dumm dee dumm....doo dee dooo", those kinds of sounds you say when you're bored, or thinking or whatever. Yeah. My name originally was DumDeDum435, but I got older and wiser and realised that not EVERY screenname needed random numbers after it. Good thing I realised this before the ability to change usernames was removed.

On a related note, I seem to remember "acekirby13"...

Anyway, I find this name kinda stupid, now, actually. Nowadays, my screename is usually "Someone Else". It is in KoL and a couple other things. I just thought that calling myself "Someone Else" was kind of clever. I just made it up on the spot when I was making a KoL account, and use it in a couple other places on the Internet.

Mine dates back to the original Wiki, when it used Tavi. I had originally used the name MoogleMaster (Final Fantasy stint, ugh) and that was too long to type. So, I found out that KuPo would link to my page automatically, and presto chango I became me.
The tildes were orignally there due to registration problems, but now they ADD CHARACTER.
