Actually, when I looked it up, it came up with 3 pictures, 2 of them non-Homestar related.

That's because you had SafeSearch enabled.

I don't see what that has to do with this topic, try posting somewhere else.

On topic: I agree that the people at Google are Homestar fans, I can't wait till they do one of their one day google fonts in Homestar form.

I was driving on the highway Monday, and i saw a Ford Ranger pick-up. an "Everybody to the limit" Bumper sticker and a The Cheat window cling. Also on of the local KROCK station in Syracuse, frequently used H*R quoteables on the Morning show. So yeah Homestar is spreading.

Yeah, definately! I want to see an April Fools joke where they put up a "Nothing is broken, everything is ok" message, but have it all official looking. Or maybe a fake, Compy like BSOD.

A Homestar Doodle? That would be cool, but what day would they do it on? The day the site went up? The Cheat's non-birthday?

Maybe on the day that "The Homestar Runner Enters the Strongest Man In the World Contest" was published.

I think I saw something on the Google Blog relating to Homestar. I had found it after searching for the electronics expo DigitalLife, which I had attended. Google told about their area, and referred to something 'asplode'-ing.

Yep, indeed they did. So, we've got two things here, the combination of which may give a favourable result: a person on the Google Blog team knows of HSR, and the fact that when people know of HSR, they tell others. =P
