It hides itself when I take my mouse off, so no. Not behind the dock.

I think it's the area in which I'd go to get to the dock. But I can click to the side of the dock and get into iTunes or something.

I dunno. But I remember having a browser that was just called "Mozilla".

Was it Mozilla Application Suite?

I used that before Firefox.

SeaMonkey eventually replaced Mozilla Application Suite.

I agree with this guy here. I like the look, but the functionality? It's way off. Unless it needs to be calibrated or something by my general searchings or whatever. We'll see in a week or so. I do like most everything else, though..

I don't get what you mean. It does everything a URL bar should do, including giving you suggested sites when you type something in, plus it has that cool looking star for easy bookmarking.

Ace, here's my beef: the old address bar would give me suggestions based off of the url of the website. I had all sorts of sites all geared in so I knew which keys to press to basically get an itemized list of where my daily surfs took me. If I wanted to go to Roosterteeth (for perspective, it's the only R site I go to daily) all I hit is r-down-enter and I'm there. Now, with FF3, I hit r, and it seems to think that maRmeduke explained, a blog I found three days ago and have vitisted twice makes much more sense. This drives me crazy.

Now, I don't know if it'll just sort itself out by taking into account where I normally go, and if it does I'll be cool with that. I just don't like that it's essentially taken what I'm used to and perfectly happy with and thrown it out the window in stead of a new feature that I won't ever use, because I don't want to have to change my system just because I now can.

But, I mean, this is the entirety of my FF3 beef. All the rest is just dead smexy.

If you want to view that website, why not just bookmark it and tag it with "R", "Rooster", and "Teeth"? If you bookmark sites that share similar tags, I believe that it goes in the order of which ones you've visited the most.

But I didn't want to have to bookmark things that used to come up in the order I wanted them to anyway before this :-|

Now...that kinda defeats the purpose of bookmarks, doesn't it? Besides, it probably takes five second to bookmark a site and tag it with the letter "R" for quick access from the address bar. Then you never have to worry about accessing it as a bookmark. :P

I haven't used Firefox (except on other computers, i.e. not the one I own), so Firefox NaN.

Disk said just what I was going to say. It's probably just as easy (or maybe a teeeensy bit more difficult) to bookmark the site.

For me, in my mind, it's on the teensy bit difficult side of it, of which I'm just dealing with, it seems to be figuring itself out. I'm not really upset with it all, it's just one of those things where the status quo has been unforeseeable change for no foreseeable reason?

Most likely Firefox 3 doesn't know your preferences
