Well, since "Where My Hat Is At?" came out, I've been thinking: They've run out of books to remake! What are they going to do for the 15th Anniversary of H*R? Now, obviously, things like these make a :hr: fan worry. And I don't like worrying! So I decided to think of some classic toons they could remake and other stuff to celebrate.

So, here's my top-something list of great things they could do to celebrate an anniversary.

6. Previously DVD-only toons (Why Come Only One Girl?, Sbemail Accent, etc) available on the site.
5. A brand-new major character! (It's been a while since crazy cartoon or japanese cartoon [whichever came last]).
Now we're getting to the good ones!
4. Complete "Tis True, Pom Pom, 'Tis True," of course!
3. Finish "Homestar Runner Goes for the Gold"!
2. Bring back and remake (DVD style) Pom Pom, Too and A Jumping Jack Contest!
And now, the number one. The absolute best thing they could do...
1. Bring back and remake (DVD style) MARSHMALLOW'S LAST STAND, with fixed audio and stuff!

What are your ideas?

I really don't think that DVD-exclusives should be made to the site. It ruins the fact that the DVDs are special and have content that isn't on the site.

Yeah, I agree - I think Last Stand and Jumping Jack Contest are what we should really be hoping for.

Hmm, good point. I hadn't thought about that.

Personally, the best thing ever for me would be Marshmallow's Last Stand. Think of the historical value--it's the first full-length Homestar Flash toon!

Another option that I hadn't mentioned would be to make a toon in Mario Paint. Not a music video like Super NES and Strong Bad is a Bad Guy, but an actual toon with a storyline. Of course, that would take considerably longer to make than the Flash toons. Hrm...

They really should complete those toons they never finished up.

A remake of Marshmallow's Last Stand would be a good 15 homestariversity toon though.

It would be pretty cool if they brought back all the stuff in the store that you can't buy anymore.

This seems like an odd place to post that.

Anyway, I second or third or whatever finishing "Tis true, Pom Pom".

I meant that they could do that for the 15th anniversary.

Er...I'm pretty sure I saw both Jumping Jack Contest and Marshmallow's last Stand on the Wiki, so there wouldn't be much need for them.
http://www.hrwiki.org/mirror/marshmallow2.html
http://www.hrwiki.org/mirror/jumpinjacks2.html
And Wacky new characters appearing as main in such a long running series can ruin it... If they become major, that is. And what are the 4 gregs if not new characters, or minor ones developing? I also agree with those who say that the DVD ones are where they belong. I don't have them, but respect that I don't deserve to see them free of charge.
The old books would be cool, and SS wets yonder bed could be pretty epic, though.

Yeah, but the animation and dubbing are...early development...at least. Maybe they could do some sort of remake where they're making fun of themselves while doing it, or a DVD!

As I said, bring back and remake DVD style Marshmallow's Last Stand. Like King of Town DVD and Yello-Dello.

As Homestar said, Marshmallow's Last Stand = BEST TOON ON THE SITE

Except it's not actually on the site. You know what I didn't mean.

Now, I don't think they should necessarily remake these toons per se, but I feel that they should go back and edit Homsar into several of the earlier toons, especially Homestarloween Party, A Holiday Greeting, The Luau and The Best Decemberween Ever. In all of these, Homsar would be designed as how he was in the HOMSAR email from whence he actually originated, like so:

Image

And as for who he should dress up as in Homestarloween Party, how about Bilbo Baggins from the novel, "The Hobbit"? In this case, he would look like the character as seen in a cartoon movie adaptation of the novel made by Rankin-Bass.

Oh, and they should also updated the Theme Song Video as per the version on the Everything Else DVD. If you have the DVD and seen the new version of the toon, you'll see what I mean.

Well,I think they should remake a jumping jack contest. It was easily my most flavorite toon. But to be honest I don't think they should remake anymore things. Instead they should go back to like old school cartoons, you know the ones where like, :hr: and :pom: would enter a contest and then :sb: and :cheat: would try to cheat, or maybe something where they just have like, original somewhat for kids cartoons.

But the only way this would happen is if they stopped doing SBemails. Now Don't get me wrong I love the SBemails I just think they should've been done after email 200 and gone back to regular cartoons every week.

THE END!

I really would like anything that features Pom Pom and/or The Announcer. Those guys don't get nearly enough screentime.

And Homsar, too!

As I said before, Homsar is great because we rarely see him. Putting more screentime for him is like listening to the same song over & over again; it gets worse & more annoying everytime. And thus is why Homsar is used so sparingly. The Announcer is only used whenever there's something to announce, which explains why he's hardly used. As for Pom Pom, I have no idea why TBC hasn't put him in more 'toons. When H*R first started, Homestar & Pom Pom were a team, but now it seems that Homestar's seen with Strong Bad more than Pom Pom. So, Pom Pom really does need more screentime, but the other two are fine just the way TBC use them.

I think they should finish Those Darn Cousins, or at least try to find a way to figure the cousins into the background.

Maybe Make little brother homeschool appear for a toon

I think they should put Homeschool Winner and that Champeen girl in the toons now that it's almost 10 years since they debuted.
