My friend gave me the link in 2004, sometime after Main Page 22 was released. I checked it out and liked it, but I forgot about it until January 2010, when I got into it again.

I think I somehow found Homestar Runner a long time ago (2002 maybe?) But I didn't return to the site until I saw an ad for SBCG4AP. Since then, I've been a super fan! :-D

If I recall, a girl in a programing class I took in 2005 started watching some toons after she had finnished an assignment or something along the lines of that.

Guess you could say word of mouth, though "sight of eye" would be more accurate. A friend of mine was showing a housemate of mine a bunch of sbemails, including classics like japanese cartoon, and I watched too, and started laughing really hard. Eventually I came back and started watching all the sbemails myself, and then branched out to the other stuff.

My brother found a link to the Trogdor sbemail. It all went
downhill from there.

I subscribe to Nintendo Power magazine. I saw their ad for SBCG4AP In there. Later, I saw the ad in wiiware. If the URL Wasn't mentioned, I would have nver discovered it. Changed my life (sobs uncontrolably)

It's also worth mentioning that I watched dragon before getting properly getting started on the series.

What happen was this, a forum I go to has a guy called "DAGRON", so this other guy posted the pic of :sm:

carving just that into a table, a third dude posted a YouTube of the sbemail which I proceeded to watch.

I laughed at it, but the only real things of note were that I thought :homsar:

was actually Homestar himself, I dunno why, and I skipped the Trogdor song for unknown reasons too.

And it was a year or so before I got around to watching the series proper.

I think I was actually reading some very odd techblog about something or other and at the end of one post, it said "Well, as the Teen Girl Squad says, 'SOOO GOOOD!'" and it made me remember something my friend had mentioned about Teen Girl Squad so I google'd it and there we are!

Someone I knew on-line at the time told me about it... the only thing I really remember is what scroll song was there when I started watching, which dates me to around March 31 – May 18, 2003.

My best friend,Chris, had told me about the website back in fifth grade. I loved the website ever since. The first toon I ever saw was "Where's the Cheat".

Most probably a forum I used to visit. I don't really remember. I did spend time looking at various flash stuff (like 512 productions) ...but that was before I found Homestar.

I was in fifth grade, and my friends were making cakes for a cake auction money raiser thing. My friend said he was making a Pom Pom cake. I had no idea what that was. That's how it all started for me. That was about 7 years ago.
