Hi guys, I'm JohnnyLurg. You may remember me from some other sites *cough*YTMND*cough*, but in case you don't, I'm just a fan. We're all fans. When a TV show gets cancelled and it has a devoted following, they petition. So that's what I'm doing. You can sign if you like. I just think The Brothers Chaps need to know we still care. Which is why I present the Homestar Runner Wiki Forums with:

Look, uh...wow. I don't know how to put this nicely. But, then again, neither do you. "We call on the Brothers Chaps to stop doing whatever they've been doing and get back to work for us!" I just think this is really bad form. If this doesn't work, what's Stage Two? Temper tantrums? Holding your breath?

You want them to know you "care," maybe drop them a note saying how much you've enjoyed their work. This just lets us all know how entitled you think you are.

I petition you to ditch this petition.

There's a difference between exercising one of your First Amendment rights (petitioning) and behaving like a spoiled child (throwing temper tantrums). Even if my petition receives, say, 1,987 signatures, that doesn't mean the Brothers Chaps will automatically resume making Homestar Runner cartoons.

You have failed at offending me, and I will not ditch this petition.

The First Amendment right is to petition the government for a redress of grievances. There's not really a right to petition cartoonists per se. You're probably thinking of freedom of speech.

You're right. I regret what I said before; I will delete my petition now.

My failed petition has been closed!

As Homestar said in Strong Bad in Jail Cartoon: "Nothing to see here! Nothing to see!"

There are two things In America I've noticed with outstanding fail rates: protests & petitions.

If petitions regularly fail, then online petitions are regularly epic fails.
