So, who has had insomnia before. In the past 39 hours ive only had a couple of sleep. One time I litterally slept only 4 hours out of 72. Doesnt happen often but it does happen. What about you.

Occasionally. But not a usual thing.

Thursday nights are the worst: I actually have self-inflicting insomnia. What I mean by this is that the reason I can't sleep is because I'm worried that I won't be able to get to sleep. This occurs on Thursdays because I have to get up at 5 on Friday for the morning shift.

Well, I am always in need of more sleep, but that is because i usually spent all my nights reading until after 12.00.

Yeah, I'm quite the insomniac. This is due in large part to the combination of thinking way too much about the most unpleasant things in life and having way too much freaking caffeine, both things of which reach their peak for me at "bedtime".

Occasionally I'll be hit with a fit of insomnia. Unfortunately for me, it's usually on Sunday nights. Which makes Mondays even more unbearable.

I have the same thing. Exactly the same.

I have a horrible sleeping problem, and have had one pretty much my whole life. It absolutely SUCKS! :(

I've been taking melatonin, & sometimes Tylenol PM, since late November, but it hasn't worked well at all. I think I have clinical depression, or just plain insomnia.

Meh... it takes me until 6 AM to fall asleep, usually. Then my SUPER-EVIL parents wake me up two hours later... so yeah. I'm gonna die.

I have a horrible time trying to sleep. Mostly because even the slightest noise will keep me up. Sleep comes rarely, and even then I don't get too much.

It used to take me FOREVER to get to sleep. I'd be thinking over the day, worrying about the next day, the future, etc, and all this other garbage. Then I started up on the crew team, which practices late in the day, so now I'm always bushed right before I got to sleep, which makes it much easier for me. I'd recomend something along those lines to anyone who can't sleep.

I think I'm in the same boat as enail, I may have very light insomnia as I usually can't get to sleep until late at night, but it doesn't bother me. I feel rested the following morning and such.

I get insomnia every Sunday night. It's because I get so much sleep Sunday morning.

A few years ago I had that problem every night. But since I got my bed moved to a different room, it hasn't happened much. Lucky me.

Not really. Sometimes I'm too hot to sleep with blankets and too cold to sleep without. And sometimes I get that aforementioned Self Inflicted Insomnia.

Well, I have had problems sleeping, but only because I have stayed up a bit late lately for the past few days. Nothing serious.

I am the epitome of insomnia.

No, really.

I doubt anyone else has gone a full week with only 5 hours of sleep.

Wait, no, I dreamed that part. It was 48 hours with only 5 hours of sleep. I thought I was awake because I had been dreaming that I was playing SSBM. Silly old me. :P

I have not fallen asleep before 4 AM in the last two weeks. I don't know what's going on. I think I am losing my mind. I actually saw a tree grow out of my floor and through the ceiling, then disappear. The tree was screaming. It was a child's voice. The tree had a child's voice. I was not dreaming when I saw this. I put it down to the fact that I have been getting on average 3 hours of sleep a night, some nights no hours.

A couple days ago, I heard noises like scratching every once in a while, but when I investigated, they stopped. I have been hearing whispering sounds right outside my door, but nothing was there. I was not dreaming during any of this.

This has never been a problem before, but I think either I have a really nasty sleep disorder or the tap water has LSD in it.

Anyone have similar problems?

Well hello goodfella. What a coincidence. On a night that I'm up to 12:15, you post this.

Lately, I haven't been going to sleep very well. But I'm not that tired in the morning.(relatively)

*checks clock* I should really get to bed. I really should.

one time i was lying in bed at 11 pm. i closed my eyes for like three seconds when our cat otto jumped onto my bed. i had no idea where he came from, 'cause i closed my door and he wasn't in my room. i realised that and he screamed in my sister's voice and disappeared. that was freaky.

I have no trouble sleeping at all. Sometimes I can't fall asleep but that's because I had too much caffeine or something. Other than that, I sleep pretty fast.

Yeah, this happens alot. It's annoying, but throughout 6th and 7th grade (6th especially) it gave me a lot of time to think, which I am very grateful for.

Every day on last week (excl. Monday) I went to bed around 11:30 pm and had to wake up for work at 6:00 am. The lack of sleep was mostly my own fault but, nevertheless, I've been pretty sleepy.

Um, IJ, that link is to this thread! Maybe you should start checking.

Burned with your own fire!

Back on topic: Nope, I never get insomnia, and I am greatful for it. There are times when I do have to stay up late, or have trouble going to sleep because it too hot/cold, but nothing too bad.
